The biggest Halloween events in McKinney, Frisco, Allen and Plano in 2026 land on Saturday, October 24: Plano's free Rest in Plano Fest downtown, Frisco's free Heritage Halloween trick-or-treat, and McKinney's Haunted History Ghost Tour. On Halloween itself, Saturday, October 31, McKinney hosts the Monster Dash 5K and a downtown Brews and Boos walk.
Collin County's cities each run their own fall calendar, and many of the early-October festivals have already passed. The Agency Dallas built this guide to cover what is still ahead from October 20 forward. Every date below was checked against a city calendar, convention and visitors bureau, or the organizer on October 20, 2026. Where a familiar event had no 2026 listing, we say so. Events change, so confirm with the organizer before you go.
