/ Why it matters /
A start date, a school year, a lease ending somewhere else. Dallas-Fort Worth is a big place, and the right neighborhood depends on where you work and where your children will go to school. We narrow it to the few areas that actually fit, then line up the lender, inspector and title company so the calendar holds.
/ 01 · What we handle /
01
A plain-language read on neighborhoods, school districts and commute corridors, matched to your office address. In person, or by video before you arrive.
02
Video tours, one focused trip to see a short list, and an agent who walks every property on your behalf. Lender, inspector and title lined up early.
03
Introductions to agents in The Agency's network of offices, so both sides of the move are handled by people who already talk to each other.
04
Short-term and long-term rentals when buying right away is not the plan, so you can learn the area before you commit.

/ 03 · Where to live /
It follows the office and the school district. Here is how the areas we work most often line up with where people work.
If you work in | Many clients look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
Downtown, Uptown or the Medical District | Short drives, walkable dining and highly rated Highland Park ISD schools | |
Preston Center, North Dallas or Galleria | Preston Hollow, North Dallas | Larger lots, established trees and quick access to the Dallas North Tollway |
East Dallas or downtown, with a love of older homes | Character homes, White Rock Lake and a neighborhood feel close to downtown | |
Plano, Legacy West or Frisco | Newer homes, master-planned communities and fast-growing school districts | |
Westlake, Southlake or near DFW Airport | Corporate campuses nearby, Carroll ISD in Southlake and an easy run to the airport |

It helps people moving to Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas with the real estate side of a move: choosing a neighborhood, buying or leasing a home from out of state, and selling the home they are leaving through The Agency's network of offices. It also works with employers and HR teams relocating staff.
It depends on where you work and which school district you want. Families working downtown often look at Highland Park and University Park; those working in Plano or Frisco often look at Frisco and Prosper; those near Westlake or DFW Airport look at Southlake. We match the commute and schools first, then the house.
Yes. Many relocating buyers tour by live video, and our agent walks each property for you, attends the inspection and coordinates closing. Most clients still make one short trip to see a final list, but it is not required.
For school district taxes, the residence homestead exemption is $140,000 off your home's taxable value, with an additional $60,000 for homeowners 65 or older or with a disability. Apply with your county appraisal district once the home is your principal residence.
No. Texas has no state personal income tax. Local property taxes fund schools and services instead, so a property tax estimate should be part of your budget for any home you consider.
New residents have 30 days to register a vehicle with the county tax assessor-collector, after any required inspection, and 90 days to get a Texas driver license from the Department of Public Safety.
Yes. We introduce you to an agent in The Agency's network of offices or a trusted local agent where you live now, and coordinate both closings so the timing of your sale and purchase lines up.
If your timeline is short or you do not know the area, leasing for six to twelve months can be the smarter first step. We help with both, and many clients lease through us first and buy with us later.
Yes. We provide candidate area tours, home finding and leasing for new hires, and a single point of contact for HR or a relocation management company. Our HR partner kit has the details.
