TAD's Guide to Making the Most of the Partners Card Shopping Event

The Partners Card is a $100 card that takes 20% off at participating Dallas-Fort Worth retailers and 10% off at participating restaurants from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, November 1, 2026, with card proceeds funding The Family Place's services for survivors of family violence. Ten days. One card. A whole city of sofas, rugs, mattresses and garden centers on sale at once. It is the closest thing Dallas has to a shopping sport, and The Agency Dallas has opinions on how to play it.

We spend our days inside homes, so we read the participating list the way we read a floor plan: room by room. This is TAD's guide to making the most of the Partners Card shopping event, with a game plan first and our picks after it.

What is TAD's game plan for the Partners Card?

  1. Buy the card first. It is $100, sold online and at select stores. Nothing gets discounted without it.
  2. Do the math before you shop. At 20% off, the card pays for itself at $500 in retail spending.
  3. Start with the big-ticket item. A sofa, mattress, rug or patio set is where 20% adds up fastest.
  4. Check exclusions before you check out. Each store sets its own, so ask at the register before the item is rung up.
  5. Save the fun stuff for the last weekend. Plants, linens, frames and gifts make a good closing lap.
  6. Leave room for dinner. Restaurants take 10% off, and a good meal earns the shopping day.

What are The Agency Dallas agents shopping for during the event?

We asked our agents where they plan to spend their card. Their answers cover garden season, gift lists, a pair of boots and a style and self-care list.

  • Lynda Villarreal: the garden run. Nicholson-Hardie and Jacksons Home and Garden are her always-favorites. She is stocking up on fall plants and flower arrangements for the table and every room, getting the house ready for the holidays and the season ahead. Nicholson-Hardie has been a Dallas institution since 1899, and Jacksons Home and Garden started in 1983 as a small pottery shop, so there is real history in the pots you carry out. Fall is also planting season in North Texas, which makes this a good week to buy greenery.
  • Katie Bankston: the gift closet. Scout Design Studio is her source for unique closing and client gifts, and she plans to use the event for Christmas shopping too. A card is a smart way to restock a gift shelf, since a client gift bought at 20% off stretches the budget further. Check Scout's listing for exclusions before you buy in bulk.
  • Courtney Michalek: the style and self-care list. Alice + Olivia, Anthropologie, Ballard Designs, Byredo, Drybar and EpiCentre Skin Care & Laser Center are all on her list. That one list covers a dress, a few home accents, a fragrance, a blowout and a skin appointment, so it is a good model for spending a card across a whole week. Anthropologie excludes BHLDN, Terrain, previous and employee purchases and gift cards, and it cannot be combined with other offers, so read the fine print before you check out.
  • Aman Bains-Scott: boots and a head start. She is getting a new pair of Miron Crosby boots, the bespoke boot brand founded in Dallas with a store in Highland Park Village, and starting her Christmas shopping early. Buying holiday gifts during these ten days is the simplest way to put the card to work.

What is the Dallas Partners Card?

The directory we pulled on October 23 listed 590 locations, so check the live list before you plan a route.

  • Dates: Friday, October 23 through Sunday, November 1, 2026 (10 days).
  • Price: $100 per card, sold online and at select stores.
  • Discounts: 20% off at participating retailers, 10% off at restaurants.

Is the Partners Card worth $100?

The math is simple: at 20% off, the card pays for itself once you spend $500 at participating retailers, and every dollar past that is savings. A single rug, mattress or patio set clears that bar on its own. Exclusions vary by store, so read each retailer's listing on the official directory before you commit to a big purchase, and ask at the register before the item is rung up.

Where should you shop for furniture and decor?

The Agency Dallas picks these for the big-ticket living room, dining room and bedroom purchases, where 20% matters most.

  • AOI Home (Design District): a family-owned Dallas destination for distinctive furniture and decor.
  • Arhaus (NorthPark and Fort Worth): furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories for indoors and out.
  • Crate & Barrel (Knox Street, Plano and Southlake): a dependable first stop for sofas and dining tables.
  • Mecox Dallas and Kathy Adams Furniture + Design: for buyers who want a more collected, designer look.
  • Frontgate, Z Gallerie, Rug Land and Stash Home Furniture: all appear as new to the 2026 directory.

Where can you find antiques, art and framing?

Dallas homes, especially older ones in the Park Cities and Lakewood, are built to hold art and character pieces. Antique Row near Inwood Village lists fine antiques, art and garden accessories (closed Sundays). Snider Plaza Antiques is new to the 2026 directory. For hanging what you buy, the card list includes Framebridge in Inwood Village and The Hill, FastFrame, Mann's Art & Frame and Chris' Craft Custom Framing.

What are the best picks for sleep, linens and bath?

This is the category where a luxury purchase becomes everyday value. The directory includes Peacock Alley, Yves Delorme Dallas, Boll & Branch, CASA DI LINO and The Pillow Bar for bedding and linens. For the mattress itself, it lists DUXIANA, Hästens, Vispring Luxury Beds and Naturepedic Organic Mattress Gallery locations in Dallas, Southlake and Frisco. A mattress is the rare purchase that is easy to justify at 20% off.

Where should you shop for the yard, garden and patio?

North Texas outdoor living is a year-round project, and fall is planting season. The list includes North Haven Gardens, Nicholson-Hardie Nursery and Home and Garden, Walton's Garden Center and Jacksons Home and Garden. For furniture that lives outside, look at Sunnyland Outdoor Living in Dallas and Frisco and Teak Warehouse, which is new this year. If you are thinking about the bigger picture, see what makes a great outdoor living space.

Which kitchen and table picks stand out?

Williams Sonoma has Dallas, Plano, Southlake and Fort Worth locations on the list, and Weston Table is new in 2026. If you are planning a remodel, our guide on what luxury buyers want in a kitchen is a good companion to the shopping.

What should you buy before you list a home?

Sellers can use a 10-day, 20%-off window well. Fresh linens, a framed print, new plants and a few good lamps are inexpensive ways to help a home photograph and show better. Our guides on making a home stand out online and getting your yard ready to sell this fall explain which updates buyers notice. The Agency Dallas helps sellers decide where the money goes before a listing goes live.

What else does the directory cover?

Beyond the home, the card list includes luggage (TUMI, Away), jewelry, gifts, wellness and many restaurants. If a move is on your calendar, how to downsize without losing what matters is worth a read before you buy anything new.

What is the full list of Partners Card participating retailers and restaurants?

The list below comes from The Family Place's official Participating Retailers directory as of October 23, 2026 (590 locations). Stores are grouped by category, and each name links to the retailer's own website when one is listed. Locations, hours and exclusions vary, so confirm eligibility with the store and on the official directory before you shop.

Frequently asked questions

When does the 2026 Partners Card event run?

The event runs for 10 days, from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, November 1, 2026. Discounts apply only to Partners Card holders during that window, so buy your card before you shop and carry it with you to every participating store.

How much is the Partners Card and what discount does it give?

The card costs $100. It gives 20% off at participating retailers and 10% off at participating restaurants. Cards are sold online through The Family Place and at select stores, and you should confirm any store-specific exclusions on the official directory before buying.

Where does the money from the Partners Card go?

Card proceeds fund The Family Place's work for survivors of family violence, including shelter, counseling, safety planning and childcare. The organization's stated fundraising goal for 2026 is $1.6 million. Details are on the official Partners Card page at familyplace.org.

How do I know which stores take the card?

The Family Place publishes a searchable Participating Retailers directory on its website. Because the list changes between years and during the event, confirm that a store is listed, and check its exclusions, before you plan a trip around it. The Agency Dallas built the picks above from that directory.

Can I use the Partners Card for furniture and home goods?

Yes, many furniture, lighting, bedding, garden and framing retailers participate, though each sets its own exclusions. Ask whether a specific brand, special order or sale item is eligible before you commit to a large purchase.
